Cost Of Modernization:
The cost of your modernization will vary depending on site specifics, scope of work, and desired equipment for install. Typically, a hydraulic elevator modernization can range from $50,000 to$150,000. Hydraulic modernizations can include controller upgrades, door equipment, pump units and fixtures. If the existing hydraulic elevator requires a cylinder replacement, this will add a significant cost to the modernization.
Traction elevator modernizations can have a wider scope then the basic hydraulic as they can reach further heights. The typical modernization includes replacing the controller, machines, door equipment and possibly the cabin interior. This can cost anywhere from $100,000 to $200,000.
Partial modernization is always an option to spread out costs. Upgrading critical components, can save on down time, and be re-used when it comes time to fully modernize. Therefore, the cost spent on the upgrade is not wasted.

Why Modernize?
Increase Passenger Safety
Save Time and Money
Decrease Service Calls and Down Time
Increase Passenger Safety
Elevators reaching the 20+ year mark are likely to be missing critical safety features. In so, some of the elevators we have seen are still operating with the old school safety edge, where you must make contact for door re-opening. Todays code requires many measures in place for safety. Modernizing will bring your elevator to todays code and safety standards.
Save Time and Money
With todays technology, elevator controllers have significantly advanced in their dispatchers. Meaning, decreased wait time for an elevator and getting you to your desired floor faster. With a new device, parts are readily accessible and support is up to date. Avoiding all costly repairs, and long down time.
Decrease Service Calls and Down Time
It is no secret that new equipment runs as it should – like new. Controllers now having built in diagnostics to help navigate the cause of a service call and get it returned to service as soon as possible. With common parts carried on hand in service vehicles, and a local warehouse housing more than 3000 parts, you can rest assured we have the part required for your service call.
